110304 ‘BEAST DVD’ is a great hit in Japan!

On March 2nd, BEAST’s DVD rose to first spot on the charts of Japan’s largest music store, Tower Trade. This DVD which reached the top as soon as it was released, is holding the first spot for two weeks now. The enthusiasm and fervor of Japanese fans were confirmed after the DVD even grabbed the third spot on the Oricon charts on the 2nd of this month.

On February 16th, BEAST first released their Japanese version of the single in Japan. Through this single, BEAST opened fire to full-fledged Japanese activities. With the DVD, BEAST has exceeded expectations on various charts and it is anticipated that fervor will increase with a single that will be released soon. BEAST released their single in time to cross over to Japan and start single promotional activities.

4minute's intense promotional activities for their newest Japanese single, WHY, will officially be more groovy starting this March 13, 2011, as TOKYO MX Koreanwave air a special broadcast plus an interview with 4minute at 6:00 in the evening.

It was also revealed through FET's Tweeter account that WHY will officially be used as the ending OST of the same show starting on that day's broadcast!

4Minute's WHY is scheduled to have its official release in Japan by next week and it's indeed an overwhelming news that it ranked 7th on this week's Oricon NINKI Rankings.

However, to make things clearer, here's a brief description of what NINKI rankings are all about:

"Oricon NINKI rankings is not the official sales ranking of the singles. The NINKI ratings are the results of a poll conducted by Oricon indicating interest in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. G.NA and 4minute sat around a table and had a friendly chat. During the conversation, Hyunah said "I recall the time when we used to live together" and made the girls remember their past dorm life spent together.

G.NA started revealing Hyunah's sleeping habits stating "Still, I'm glad you're sleeping alone in your bed. Whenever my schedule was over and that I came back home, Hyunah was sleeping, stretching all over the bed.", to what Jihyun added "Hyunah dances unawares when she's sleeping".

Far Eastern Tribe, a company under Universal Music Japan, which handles all the promotional activities of 4minute in Japan, has just announced through their Tweeter account that 4minute will finally air their first ever TV performance of their newest Japanese single, entitled WHY.

FET tweeted, "4Minute's performance on "HAPPY MUSIC" this coming March 11 was already confirmed! Please check it out!"

Mark your calendars now and let us all wait patiently for that most-awaited day! A source has also revealed that FET is still planning for 4minute's possible appearance on one of Japan's most popular music shows, MUSIC STATION.

It's been revealed that Korean artists have covered several of Fukuyama Masaharu's hit songs for a tribute album called 'With Special Guests -Fukuyama Masaharu Remake-' which will be released in 6 Asian countries on March 30 (April 20 for Korea only).

8 artists participated in this work, including BEAST, the 6-member male group who will be releasing their Japan debut single "SHOCK" on March 16, their labelmate and female singer G.NA, and the 4-member vocal group 2AM who won a music award for Digital Music Daesang last year in Korea (GOLDEN DISK AWARDS). Each and every member present are established for their strong vocals and thus there is much interest in how well it will all come out.

Furthermore, there will also be a new version of Fukuyama's best album 'THE BEST BANG!!' that came out in Korea last year, and it will have an additional bonus disc (-ASIA LIMITED BANG!!-) that will be included for release on March 30. Since this will be a limited version, those who are interested should pre-order it quickly!

Their expressions are cute and they can't stop their playfulness. They are absorbed into game and some are sleeping defenselessly. They are different from their charismatic appearance on stage wearing their uniforms.

BEAST fascinated their fans on December of last year with pilot concept. They started their flight again after only two months. On the 18th in Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium, they started their flight again where it was filled with heat in the beginning.

BEAST fascinated their fans with and etc along with their duet . parody and secret selcas in the flight attendants phones added small fun to the concert.

Group BEAST who was supposed to have their music video played on billboards in Japan have ceased their plans.

On February 26, for 10 minutes, starting at 5:30PM, BEAST was planning to release their music video for their Japanese debut song ‘SHOCK Japanese ver.’ in 5 major cities in Japan such as Tokyo and Shibuya through giant billboards.

However, the Shibuya police department instructed for the playing to be stopped because they were concerned that too many fans would crowd around to watch it.

BEAST’s music video was released on the 27th on the official Universal Music Youtube channel instead.

On the other hand, BEAST is planning to release their first Japanese single ‘SHOCK’ on March 16th and actively start promotions in Japan.
