BEAST’s rapper Yong Junhyung will be releasing his first solo song since his debut.

With the opening of the world tour ‘Beautiful Show’ just around the corner on the 4th, BEAST will be releasing another new song for the concert after ‘I Knew It’.

The new song ‘Living Without You’ is a hiphop genre song that was created by Yong Junhyung and the new composer Kim Taejoo. This song is attracting attention since it will be the first solo song that Yong Junhyung had composed and written on his own.

BEAST’s ‘Living Without You’ releasing on the 3rd has the similar story plot of ‘I Knew It’ and it could considered as the behind story expressing the confession of a man who has been betrayed.

Mixed in with the modern hip hop rhythm, ‘Living Without You’ expresses the honest feeling of a man who is telling his confessions to the woman who has betrayed him in a cool manner. This story plot expects to create familiarity with other men who has experienced situations like this.

iG: Which bands or artists inspire you?

4minute: There are many artists who we always admired and dreamed of becoming like them. As 4minute is a group focused especially on stage performance, we always watch performances of other artists. After seeing clips of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, who show great presence on stage, we took several ideas from them.

iG: When did you note the success of the group?

4minute: We still have a long way to go, but we are aware that there are many people who support us. We have fans in many places in Asia and a new love for Brazil, UK and USA recently emerged. Fame will follow in proportion to our efforts.

iG: You seem to have very different personalities. Do you have fun together?

4minute: We have different personalities, but also share similarities. Every day we are becoming more similar to each other, since every day we go out together. We are the same ages, so we like going out, talking, and laughing.

iG: You choose your clothes? Where is your fashion inspiration?

4minute: We try to follow current trends reading fashion magazines. Moreover, when there is a parade, and If we have time, we want to watch it. However, we believe that fashion is to find a style that suits you. Instead of following trends, it's more important to be yourself.

iG: What kind of message do you want to share with the world through music?

4minute: We have many songs encouraging self-reliance and independence. Performing in different countries, we realize that music brings people together, so we want everyone to be friends no matter where you come from. We hope the fans can feel our positive energy.

[NEWS] Beast, New Song, "I Knew It", Music Charts Occupied

Idol group, Beast's "I Knew It", with their song release, they got into the top of music charts.

Beast's new song, "I Knew It" was released after 8 months since releasing Beast's 1st album "Fiction and Fact" last May.

In particular, on this day, through youtube official channel, they released "I Knew It" music video and there were alot of fans interest in it.

At "I Knew It" music video, you could see Son Dongwoon's deep "act of turning one's eyes" acting.

Beast will perform this song at Seoul Olympic Athletic Stadium on February 4th and 5th.

[NEWS]BEAST, going strong in ballad?

Popular group BEAST shows an exceptionally strong aspects in ballads.

BEAST has recently released a new song, 'I Knew It', and on the 29th, still topping major music charts like Melon, MNet, Bugs, Olleh Music from 2~3, having a close fight with MBC's 'The Moon Embracing The Sun' OST, 'Back in Time'.

On the previous 26th, as soon as it hit public and music sites, it sweeps to 1st place, and despite that is does not have a broadcast activity to go with, it still is topping the chart and going strong. It is obvious that this is due to the powerful fandom this idol group has that made it reached No.1 as soon as it is released. But after three days taking over the ranks, the public seems to disprove BEAST's ballad.

Last year, BEAST's best hit song was not the dance tittle song 'Fiction' but it was 'On Rainy Days'. The song was anticipated so much that when it was first broadcasted in KBS's 'Music Bank', it reaches to rank first. Moreover, 'On Rainy Days' scored more in the score records.

BEAST's performance is lead by lead vocal Yang Yoseob who has an exceptional singing skills and this phenomenon is accepted undeniably.

An official source of BEAST said "In ballads, Yoon Doojoon has a unique color to his voice thus with such vocal, BEAST seem to create their own unique color of ballad. Also, the stories in Yong Junhyung's raps received good reactions. It's not traditional ballads, and it seems like only BEAST can seem to fit the ballad's color".

'I Knew It' will be specially performed during BEAST's world tour.
