IU and Lee Kikwang will be working together as baby turtles.

IU and Lee Kikwang have been casted as dubbing actor/actress for the upcoming aqua animation 'Sammy's Adventure 2'. IU has participated in the theme song for 'Hen that came out to the Porch' before, however this will be her first time as a vocal actress. Same goes for Lee Kikwang.

Lee Kikwang will play the role of baby sea turtle named Ricky, who falls in love with Ella (IU), who was his friend since birth. Anticipation rises as people wonder how Lee Kikwang will portray Ricky, who swims the seas in order to save his loving family.

After Sulli and Daesung's harmony that attracted 1,000,000 audiences in the last movie, there is high anticipation that IU and Lee Kikwang's casting will bring more audiences since many families have been waiting for the second movie.

Similar to the first movie when the characters swam the 5 seas and 6 continents, 'Sammy's Adventure 2' will portray the great escape at the largest aquarium. Ella and Ricky's adventure to save Sammy, who is captured in the Dubai aquarium will begin on August 2nd.

“I think I'm really going to be cursed at a lot.”

If you just hear those words, there is a possibility you might misunderstand. "If I don't satisfy the eyes of the audience coming to see the musical," are the completing words to the first set which is said by an idol singer with pressure, but still conveying the truth in his words.

First premiering in 2008, the musical 's audience probably had no idea that BEAST's Jang Hyunseung will be landing the role. This is because there haven't been much idols present on the star lists for musicals. However, his talent and stage presence he showed off on the 'Trouble Maker' stages clearly displays his charms. Perhaps it was because of that, but rather than showing off his worrisome mind, he had determination in his answers. The fun you can experience in between his words of humbleness and kindness! The new Mozart is for sure attracting curiosity.

Posted ImageYou have the release of the new album and opening of coming up.

I'm really busy these days. It's hard preparing for two different things, but BEAST's album will be coming out mid-July and depending on the situation it can be pushed forward. It shouldn't be later than early August at least.

Posted ImageHow is it practicing for . It shouldn't be easy since it's your first musical and acting.

I'm worried about my condition more than anything. I lost some weight, but I think I can endure it well. I'm running on the running machine everyday for my health. The role itself has a lot of lines and there are a lot of parts where I'm singing high tones so I'm overwhelmed by that.

Posted ImageHow far are you into the role? I heard that you started practice earlier than others.

I started a little bit earlier, but other people had already done a musical before so it's the same as being the last one to start. I'm trying my best to catch up to them.

Posted ImageHave you been interested in musicals?

To be honest, I haven't watched musicals that often. I watched that Junsu hyung performed in a while a go, but I thought it was a different world from me. But at the same time, I thought to myself that when the chance came, I would take it for sure. The pressure was the second thing and I wanted to challenge myself. Isn't it a great opportunity? Not everyone gets to do what they want to do so, I'm grateful. I just hope that this isn't my last stage. (laughs)

Posted ImageYou must have been overwhelmed because it was a role Kim Junsu had been in.

That is correct. Because Junsu hyungnim is an idol too. I learned that Junsu hyungnim was the first idol to star in . So there is more pressure. To be honest if I was the first one, then I would be more lenient, but there is already an amazing example. I'm lacking a lot compared to Junsu hyung, but I think I have to figure out my own color too.

Posted ImageHave you received tips as a hoobae?

Lee Kikwang is close to Junsu sunbaenim so I heard from him that Junsu hyung will be giving me tips some time. I think I ate with him once? (laughs) He said that he will be coming to see the performance. I'm really thankful and I hope that his fans don't curse at me. Haha I'm kidding. Of course I know that I'll receive criticisms if I don't do well.

Posted ImageThere are a lot of people who already love this musical.

That's right. I really think I'll be cursed at a lot. It will be not right for me to leave the people who are purely coming to watch the musical unsatisfied. If I don't do well, fans will look at me nicely, but other people will critic me for sure. I can't do well as other actors, but I have a similar personality as Mozart. I think I have to show my own color.

Posted ImageI think we might be seeing a new Mozart?

I won't do well as the actors who portrayed Mozart in the past, but I don't think it's right for me to follow in their acting. I think I'll have more of a rebellious side in me. And add in some bratty talk here and there.

Posted ImageWho do you Mozart is like?

He is a trouble maker and genius, but he is really stubborn and always goes his way. He is a genius who doesn't fall for fame or fortune and purely has good music. I don't know because I'm a not a genius, but Mozart's character has it's own charms because he doesn't listen to anyone. He is someone who will go his own way despite nagging from his father. I heard that he was a playboy, but since I'm not one, acting like one will be a nice experience too. (laughs)

Posted ImageI can see confidence in you.

Um I think I have to do well. But I predict that I'll get both responses. Either it's going to be "he went for a role that idol singers should not be doing and it was too much for him" or "it was his first time and he did well."

Posted ImageDo you pay attention to comments left online?

I try to pass over it most of the times, but there are times when it digs deep into my heart. During Trouble Maker, it was a chance for me to show off new things, but I heard a lot of cursing too. There were people who understood that it was purely for performance and others who thought it was provocative. However, my role is to stay strong until the end and disregard them.

Posted ImageDidn't you know people were going to say it was provocative?

Of course I anticipated it somewhat. To be honest it was a bit provocative, but I didn't know when I was doing it. I thought to myself, "Why is this considered erotic?" But after a while and I watched a video of it, I understood what they meant. (laughs) Hyunah's own colors were strong too, well since she's good at that.

Posted ImageThere is a kiss/peck scene in . (laughs)

I know from experience because of Trouble Maker, but that is nothing compared to it. (laughs)

Posted ImageHardest thing about a musical?

Acting in front of musical cast is really hard. I'm overwhelmed. If I was a musical actor/actress I don't think I'll look at myself well. And that is totally understandable. I got a role which is hard for idol artists to portray. I will work hard so look at me nicely.

Posted ImageIs there someone who you became close to or came to rely on?

It would have to be Euntae sunbaenim who has the same role as me and understands my point of view well. There were a lot of times Euntae sunbaenim came out to help me in the practice room. Even when he didn't have to come out. (Looking at the endorsement director) Was I too nice? (laughs) He helped me a lot. He also taught me something I didn't know before. I use a lot of strength when I sing so I was worried about my neck going bad during the performances, but he taught me techniques on how to sing so it doesn't. I never learned so much at once.

Posted ImageIs there anything that you remember from what he said?

He said that it's important to do well on performances, but it's most important that I finish the musical from start to finish. I remember him telling me not to stress over one song, but finish all the songs. I'm worried because I don't know how tired I will be after one song, but I have concert experience where I danced and sang, so that should help somewhat right?

Posted ImageIf you could rate yourself as an actor?

Um... I don't know. I would like it if people said that I match the role well, but I will be scared if they told me that I would never fit this role. But I think they casted me after seeing some potential. They are the professionals right? I'm trying to do my best without any doubts.

Posted ImageWhat would have to be charms of a musical?

It's really fun practicing. In BEAST the 6 guys had to share parts, but in a musical you have to pull a stage for 2 hours. There is a lot of pressure because of all the things you have to do, but it's fun.

Posted ImageIt must be a new type of fun.

It's fun. I didn't know musicals have awards too, but I found a video a while ago. Watching Junsu hyungnim on stage, I wanted to know how it feels to be on stage. I really hope this isn't my last project. (laughs) I wish I can get to try more projects through

Posted ImageSince debut in 2009, BEAST just kept on going without a rest.

There were a lot of days we didn't have schedules too. We practiced when we had to and rested when we got to it. Even when we do rest, we watch videos of artists overseas, dance, sing, or do something related to our self discovery. I don't like places with a lot of people so I when I do meet anyone it's in small groups. It's strange how I'm a singer because I don't like having the attention on me always. I know that you have to be bright on stage since you are getting the spotlight, but I want to be normal in my daily life.

Posted ImageDon't you want to meet your girlfriend normally too?

Um, I don't have a girlfriend right now. But, don't I have to say that I don't have one even if I do? (laughs)

Posted ImageThis year will be a meaningful year for you Hyunseung.

Even just with I think it will be a meaningful year. I want to hear that Hyunseung did well showing his color besides the fact it was his first try.

Posted ImageA word to the audience?

I'm taking a great step as a musical actor through this amazing opportunity. With fans and audiences watching, I will not make it uncomfortable to watch me. I will work my hardest to make it possible for everyone to watch comfortably, so please anticipate.

4minute’s Heo Gayoon shared her fashion preparations before going to the airport.

Gayoon recently appeared on On Style’s Style Log: Weekly and revealed the secret to her unique airport fashion. Her comfortable yet fashionable style, which has been captured by the paparazzi many times, was shown throughout the show.

Heo Gayoon said, “When I go to the airport, I like to wear comfortable clothing, but I always match my outfit with a point item that stands out. I usually wear comfortable shoes but I wear patterned T-shirts and big sunglasses. I don't buy many luxury brand-names, but I like to buy rare imports that can't be found in Korea.”

Gayoon also revealed that she doesn’t like her famous nano-ankles: "I believe they are too thin. I wear colorful socks to cover them. Since I have small feet, it's hard to find shoes and I even have to wear custom-made shoes when performing on stage.

Gayoon added, “My ultimate goal is to become a muse for fashion designers just like the British fashionista Alexa Chung. I want to collaborate with a fashion designer and create an item under my name some day. I will work hard towards that goal, so please support me.”

EG: Do you remember filming for your first photoshoot after BEAST's debut?
Ah, you came during that time too right? I was going to ask you anyways a while ago. I remember it, that day.

EG: It was the February 2010 edition. You guys were rookies back then, but now you guys are one of the top groups.
You had no idea that we were going to turn out like this right? (laughs)

EG: To be honest, I had no idea you guys will be at the top this quick. From then to now, what is the greatest change for you? Not something on the outside, but inside.
Before debut, I thought it was okay if we weren't popular. It's because I thought nothing else mattered as long as I was doing what I wanted to do and whatever that looked good. But as I went through different promotions, I realized why we need the love from many people.I learned that I could only do what I want to do with the love from the fans.

EG: Your popularity overseas is amazing. What do you think is the reason that fans love BEAST?
I really have no idea. Looking at fellow artists that debuted around the same time as we did, I think that they have more potential than us to be popular. In addition, when I look at our stage I question myself thinking, "Is this all that we could do." (laughs) We really have no idea what about BEAST catches the interest of others.

EG: Isn't the name 'Jang Hyunseung' too hard to pronounce for fans overseas? Isn't that the reason why you decided to go by 'JS' when you promoting 'Trouble Maker'?
I used the name JS when I was promoting Trouble Maker, but wherever I went I was still called 'Hyunseung'. Even on the door to the waiting room during broadcasts, it read 'Jang Hyunseung'. I was a little disappointed. Since before debut, I wanted to use a stage name. Personally I think cool artists should have a cool stage name. I think I have to talk to my management again.

EG: I think you got your sexy image through 'Trouble Maker' promotions.
Well if a man and a woman are doing a performance one on one, it can't be all pure and innocent right? (laughs) It was a lot harder than performing with the guys. You also need to learn being patient for your partner. I was touching because it was in the choreography, but that was really hard too.

EG: But you still felt good because you received a lot of love from the public right?
Of course. I did it thinking, "Should I give this a try?" But I was so surprised by the response. Even the director approved of it. He had no idea it was going to be this big too. (laughs)

EG: Will the musical 'Mozart!' you are participating in be the same? This is your first musical right?
To be honest, I didn't even know about the musical before. I thought the role was too much for an idol singer like me to digest so I didn't even think about it. But luckily, I was able to participate in such a big project as the main character so I have been putting all my efforts into it.

EG: Have you seen sunbae Kim Junsu's performance who had been praised for his role in 'Mozart!' before?
A while ago, I got to watch 'Elizabeth' which was the musical that sunbaenim had participated in, but I only watched 'Mozart!' through a video. I also watched Park Euntae hyung's video clip as well. I have been studying from their stages.

EG: I heard that you have been putting all your energy into practicing. How is it actually practicing?
Before anything else, I think it's really physically demanding. The whole show it about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but I had never pulled a stage for that long from start to finish. In a group, all the six members share a song together. Plus, I'm on the skinnier side so I don't really do endurance workouts, but these days I have been running for an hour each day to increase my strength.

EG: In musical, acting is as important as singing. Wasn't acting for the first time difficult?
Thankfully, Mozart's character is a lot like mine so I don't think it was as hard. Of course not the "prodigy" part, but the part being a rebel. I have a very playful personality. Unlike my calm image, I don't listen to others well. I'm really stubborn and I have my specific personal preferences. What I don't like, I don't like no matter how much someone tries to persuade me. Mozart in the musical and I resemble each other in the fact that he doesn't listen to his father or sister and does whatever he wants.

EG: Do you think you are a prodigy like Mozart?
No. I was really born with nothing. But at the same time, I can't say that effort has made me into someone who is really skilled. I pulled myself to the place I'm at right now through effort and effort itself. It was really hard learning dance and singing and this musical challenge has been the same.

EG: How is it working with the musical sunbaes who you recently met?
In the beginning I was really embarrassed to sing and act in front of them. These days idols can easily move into genres like movies, dramas, and musicals. To be honest, if I wasn't a BEAST member, how else could I have gotten a role in this musical? Many musical actors/actresses must have really worked hard for their roles, but the fact that I had gained a role like that so easily made me feel embarrassed and overwhelmed.

EG: During your first performance on July 10th, who do you want to invite?
On the first performance, I don't want to invite anyone. In addition, I don't want to invite anyone on the last performance because I'm worried that I might crack my voice because I'll be tired. I think about the 3rd or 4th performance will be the best. I want to invite my members, friends, dance teacher, and fellow sunbaes and hoobaes. But to be honest, I'm not that type to invite anyone first. If they want to come and watch, I will probably be like "Okay, come here at this time. You don't need to buy a ticket."

EG: Earlier this year all of the BEAST members and BEAST's fathers came on 'Win Win' and danced to 'Fiction'. How was it watching your father dance?
It wasn't all fun watching him. All of them must have been busy with their work, but just thinking about how hard it must have been for them to learn the choreography on top of that. I felt even worse because they were in their older years too. I heard that my expression has not been good since my father's appearance then.

EG: What kind of son is Jang Hyunseung at home?
Quiet son. After starting my trainee days in high school, I really didn't talk much. If you look at the other members, they talk about all bunch of things with their parents, but not me. My parents know that I'm like that so they don't ask me. I can't do aegyo (can't act cute), I'm really shy, and I don't like being the instigator. I'm really a quiet guy.

EG: But how can a person like that be a singer?
I think because I am a person like that I'm a singer. Because I change on stage.

EG: Offstage when you are hanging out with the members what's your role?
The quiet one. (laughs) I usually stay quiet. I would stay like that until the mood starts turning the other way. Then I would start talking.

EG: Then what do you do when you are alone or on break?
There isn't much to it. When I'm in the dorm I'm on the computer or practicing. I don't really like going around places to play. I go back a forth from the house, dorm, practice room, and broadcasting studios. I don't really go out unless I'm meeting a friend in between here and there. I don't like going to the club because I don't like places with a lot of people.

EG: Then it's true that you are a practice bug. Other than singer or dancing skills, what other skills do you want?
The ability to compose. To be honest, I thought I didn't need to compose one or two years ago. Since I was a singer and dancer, I thought all I had to do was digest the songs that the composer made me. Now my thinking has changed. I want to try composing too.

EG: Looking back at yourself during debut, how does it feel?
I was a total baby. When I think back to myself who used to think, "I'm good." I wonder why I thought like that. Back then I didn't know what looked good on stage and what I was supposed to and not supposed to do. At least now, I know what timing is about.

EG: As you move higher, you tend to get more wants. What do you want currently?
I want to show many different sides of me. I have been working really hard for this musical as well as BEAST's comeback stage. I tried out a photoshoot on my own today and I want to try out more photoshoots like this. I usually checkout the photoshoots of different stars on magazines. I want to be in more photoshoots. Hit me up often!

EG: What does "that is BEAST like" mean?
What does that mean? It's really hard. I personally don't like synchronized choreography. I want to show off a dance that displays the different characteristics of all the members, but at the same time tie everything together.

EG: Then what you want "that is Jang Hyunseung" like to mean?
I don't want to hear that I'm just an okay guy in a team that keeps on trying to research new things. I want to be remembered as "a very skilled singer."
