[NEWS] 4minute's Kwon Sohyun, to TEEN TOP's L.Joe "Will you be my boyfriend?" Confession

4minute's Kwon Sohyun revealed a photo from TEEN TOP's new MV shooting venue. She's the female main character for TEEN TOP's 2nd mini-album 'I'm Going Crazy' MV.

She uploaded a photo on 29th with a caption, "TEEN TOP's teaser is out. It's my first time, other than my works with 4minute. Look forward to it ^^ Ah! The photo that I uploaded yesterday was from TEEN TOP's MV shooting venue. One more photo."

Kwon Sohyun uploaded a photo on 27th with a caption, "Will you be my boyfriend?" Netizen was curious about the meaning of the photo. Turns our it was a couple photo from TEEN TOP's MV.

In the photo, we can see Sohyun wearing a knit with cute patterns, while listening to music through headphones and leaning against the wall.

In the other photo, we can see her wearing a one-piece while gathering both her hands, and smiling shyly. Beside her, TEEN TOP's L.Joe was sitting while looking at the ground with his hand in the pocket.

[NEWS] 4minute's January Comeback, Hyunah is Busy 'Schedule Maker'

4minute will be making their comeback in January.

They're now done with the album, and will be making a comeback in January with a new album. Cube Entertainment CEO Hong Seungseong revealed the news on 26th December at a press conference.

With the comeback date confirmation, Hyunah will be spending more and more busy days. Hyunah is currently promoting 'Trouble Maker' with BEAST's Jang Hyunseung. They're gaining popularity for their radical performance, and is currently doing well in charts. They also won #1 place in some music programs.

CEO Hong Seungseong said sorry towards Hyunah for making her work restlessly, and revealed that their 2012 comeback is for 4minute's big development.

[NEWS] BEAST, "Next year we will receive first place with more meaning

After the mega hit of Big Bang and Wonder Girls in 2007, it's been already 4 years since the "idol fad" has been going around. Each year, the idol industry has been known to be overflowing, however the new groups put together with dream and passion has successfully gained the attention of the public, even though the type of attention might be negative.

The ideal type of this is BEAST. Consisting of members who faced hard times in YG and JYP, BEAST was finally able to join the group of popular stars in two years and is currently awaiting to start off a 14 country world tour next year. Even though it might be something that can raise the confidence of the group, BEAST continues to remain strange. When we said we will be interviewing the "hot people" who lit up the 2011 year, leader Yoon Doojoon blurted out "huk." (T/N: "Huk" is the Korean word used in shocking situations or moments in disbelief).

"We still need to work harder. Really. I'm not saying this because it is an interview, but we were really disappointed. We really wished to release another album for you guys. We only had the 5 weeks of activities in Korea with our album."

In this age of overflowing idols, the reason they are displaying a lead in this race has to do with their sad beginning for BEAST who started later than some. Yoon Doojoon continued to deny the fact they were ahead and stated that there was a big moment of change for them.

"To be really honest. When we first debuted, we thought we were going to do really well. (Laughs) Maybe not a top star material, but we thought we were going to do fairly well. But, that wasn't the case. Other than the fact that we were active thanks to the help of other idol groups, it was really hard for us. So that is why the members started to prepare their minds. We thought we might have to do part time jobs. Or we thought about what kind of jobs we will do for the future. It was really serious."

Most of the times they showed a lot of playful sides, however they changed a lot about themselves to overcome the hard times. And then, they started to see the seats in front of them fill up with BEAST fans.

"It was when we were active with 'Mystery'. Suddenly, there were a lot of fans in the seats. Then, we came to the conclusion that we will be able to catch more attention if we worked a bit harder. We thought and considered a lot of things. How should I say this. We were really desperate."

Just like that BEAST, who had become the popular group, was able to make a statement as one of the top groups of this year. During February, they completed their first concert at Seoul Olympic Stadium and won the artist award for their first official album through Melon Music Awards.

"The concert at Olympic Stadium, it was the biggest award for us then and it still is even now. Going to BOYZ II Men and G Dragon's solo concerts, we wondered when we were going to do a concert here. That was the truth even though it makes us look really sad. (Laughs) When we were given the chance to do a concert there, worries filled us first. We were concerned that other people thought we were being arrogant. It's been only 2 years since debut, and it was a bit early for us. However, many people came and we can't forget our performances then."

If you look at that way, for BEAST everything has been early on time. Concert, winning first place, and even the world tour, everything has been faster for them compared to other groups. Rather than being prideful, BEAST had been more modest.

"We were cursed at a lot after winning first place. (Laughs) The thing we agreed on though was that we need to be more active next year and receive the award then with more meaning. World tour is overwhelming. In hallyu sense, we are like babies. We are nervous to be starting so early compared to other sunbaes, but we will complete it well. And when the tour is over, we hope that you will anticipate and support the album we are releasing after the tour as well. Our overall goal is really different. Honestly, the award isn't important to us. We just want to be a group that adults can name in surveys."

For BEAST who had spent half of the year overseas, it was hard for them, but they are overcoming it with the close friendship between the members.

"The relationship between the members is really good. Since debut, I think right now we are doing the best right now. Last Christmas, all the members got together to watch a movie. We watched 'National Player" and the six men laid down and cried together. (Laughs)"

[NEWS] BEAST has potential with the world tour

[TV Report Kang Seunghoon Reporter] BEAST, 4minute, G.NA, the artists who participated in the 'United Cube Concert' are still in a weak condition, but they showed that they have plenty of potential.

In a conference held in Seoul Lotte Hotel on the 26th at 1PM, BEAST stated, "Through performances in Europe (England) and Brazil we were able to cooperate with the fans. However the condition of the stages weren't as good. In England, there was tradition in the stage, so it wasn't a setting we could explode fireworks or add a extending stage so overall that it was hard for teams like us who perform. Brazil was in a better condition than England, it wasn't free as we were in Korea."

In addition, they added, "Even though it was harder to perform in Europe and South America, we thought that it would be easier for other Korean artists to perform in these locations if we set up a good start for them. In the future, we will be able to meet the fans and perform in many more different areas."

BEAST explained that KPOP hasn't been expanded to the point it was so popular, but there was a sign of high potential.

BEAST stated, "In Asia there are people who notice us in the streets, but Europe it wasn't even to that extent. However, the way we are treated by the Europeans had changed compared to last year. In the future, we believe that KPOP will be favored by fans even more in Europe and South America."

The reason why BEAST says that there is potential is because each time they release an album, music video, or a video clip, there are more and more people who are clicking it. In reality, even during the performances in England and Brazil oversea fans used their SNS and youtube account to post videos and many people were able to check it out.

BEAST commented, "Oversea fans film videos and since they post the videos on youtube, we believe that is how it gets spread a bigger audience. One Indian fan tweeted us that she wanted us to perform there, and we will try to make that possible."

BEAST confessed that they will be heading 2012 with a planning and adventurous mind. And of course, they will be releasing an album around April-May of next year and fulfill their activities in Korea.

According to comments by locals, BEAST seems to be minor at the moment, however they commented that can also be the performance team that has the potential to finish the world tour successfully.

BEAST stated, "The performances in Brazil and England seemed to have been a little forced on us. If we take out the big entertainment business and just focus on the fact that Cube is throwing a family concert, I hope that we can continue the 'United Cube Concert'."

BEAST will be starting off the concert in Seoul on February 4-5th, 2012 and move on to Germany (Berlin), England (London), Spain, America (3 cities), Canada (2 cities), Singapore, Japan (5 cities), Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, and more totaling to 14 countries, 21 cities, and 35 concerts.

Starting February of next year in Seoul, BEAST concert estimated price is at 200 million won. Other than big LEC screens, different equipment, lights, 3D effects will be used to create the greatest show.

BEAST held a conference on the 26th at the Seoul Lotte Hotel and revealed their plans for the upcoming 2012 year. Hong Seungsung president stated, "From February to April, BEAST will be releasing 3 singles." In addition he added, "The single being released in January will be a ballad genre, in February it will be hip hop genre, in March it will be a medium dance genre single. On April-May, BEAST will be making a comeback in Korea."

Popular group BEAST will be opening a 14 country and 21 city world tour titled 'Beautiful Show' next year. An estimated amount of about 200 million won is expected to be the starting amount.

Cube Entertainment stated at a conference on the 26th at Seoul Lotte Hotel, "Starting from February BEAST will be opening a 35 destination world tour." And added, "We are preparing an amazing show with state of the art equipment and 3D effects."

The estimated audience is to be 200 thousand people and they are planning to travel Germany, England, Spain (3 times around Europe) and LA, New York, San Francisco, and more (6 times in America), and Vancouver, Toronto, and more (4 times in Canada). As for Asia, including the 2 times in Korea, they will also be heading to Singapore, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Thailand.

BEAST will be taking control of this concert starting with the planning process.
