[NEWS/INFO] 4Minute to represent Korea at Japan awards!

4Minute have been chosen as the official representative at the Billboard Japan Music Awards 2011. It will be held on Feb 6th in Tokyo. They are also the only Korean singers invited. Star News, who represented CUBE, has said that they have been selected as they are one of the newest rising Kpop stars this year. They also anticipated that their peformances will garner more interest from fans.

4Minute have also commented that it is an honour to perform at such an event with many other famous singers and have promised to do their best!

It was recently revealed that 4minute offered dried persimmons to the staff of their entertainment company, Playcube, as gifts for the Lunar New Year. One of these lucky people stated "4minute thanked us and brought us dried persimmons as a present for the Lunar New Year. I thought it was admirable of them to think about their company's staff, I was touched". One of their managers eventually thanked them on twitter : "The dried persimmons are delicious!! If they're not the world's most delicious dried persimmons!?^^ Thank you 4 4 4 4minute ♥"

The girls also presented the fruits to staff from Music Cube and from Zanybros, the music video production company CUBE often works with.

[NEWS] An Update on 4Minute's participation to 2011 Grand Collection in Tokyo

Earlier, we have just announced that 4minute will perform at Yuri Katsura's Bridal Fashion Exhibition that will be held on the 23rd of February.

An update has just been made about the upcoming event announcing that 4Minute will not just perform but also RAMP on the runway as models of Yuri Katsura's most awaited set of bridal gowns. They are set to bring down the house not just with their fellow KPOP artists such as Supernova and Beast, but also with well-known models such as Alisa Urahama, Kagami Seira, Mao Nana, Nanami, Shima Hanamatsu and more.

Since the event also aims to promote Japan's rich traditions and culture, as well as the unified Japanese-Western art, Mr. Shogo Kariyazaki, a famous flower artist in Japan would offer his expertise by producing and decorating gorgeous bouquet of flowers that will be used for the show. Mr Chau Sang, a professional calligrapher, was assigned on making dynamic address book and calligraphy. AUNJ Classical Orchestra and JI BARK (composer) will be responsible for the over-all music for the event.

From the set of all the aligned participants of the event, we can now have a grasp or idea on how big this event would be. It's definitely something that we should look forward to, most especially because 4Minute will be participating on both parts of the event.

Recently it was Dongwoon from BEAST who first revealed his pre-debut, elementary pictures to be exact, pictures, another one was Super Junior Kibum who revealed both him and Heechul's pictures during their Banolim years, then again Heechul revealed his high school picture this morning.

So to continue the revelation of pre debut pictures coming from the idols themselves, Yang Yoseob from BEAST just revealed a picture of him in his twitter minutes ago. Well of course it was his pre debut picture which he quoted "For fans, to see this idol past picture.. kkk this pic is on the past 6 years.."

This February 2nd, during SBS's special program for the Lunar New Year recorded in Pattaya (Thailand), King of Idols, some popular idols were confronted to one another during games.
After the dancing segment and the wrestling challenge, teams were opposed in a game during which the first to eat the weed suspended on the horizontal bar would win the face-off.
For this game, Hyunah and 2AM's Jinwoon were up against Park Jungmin and SISTAR's Hyorin, the male idols supporting the female idols on their shoulders.
Hyunah, good at shoulder riding, was first to get near the weed.

However, Hyorin started to attack her and grappled her. Hyorin definitely showed her competitive spirit by trying to throw Hyunah, who was withstanding and holding the horizontal bar firmly, into the water.
In response to her unceasing attacks, Hyunah acted irritated and even bluntly called her a devil. She ended up begging Hyorin not to eat the weed.

Hyunah eventually got herself together and tried to eat the weed once again. This time, she was disturbed by Park Jungmin who was sprinkling water on her and hence called her a devil.
Whoever the devil was, the pair showing its strong competitive spirit (Jungmin and Hyorin) won the challenge.

The girl group 4minute sent their New Year greetings to their fans and informed about their plans for the release of their first Korean full-length album.

Gayoon, through a representative, expressed her wishes. "During the Lunar New Year, I want to go privately to my maternal grandmother's house. As it is in the countryside, I would like to spend the Lunar New Year in a simple mood, while eating regional dishes tranquilly with the members. I also want to enjoy it with the members, eating the rice cake soup our good cooks, Jihyun and Hyunah, prepared"

She also added "We'll get to see you soon with our new first full-length album. Please anticipate it a lot!" which increased the fans' expectations.

Jiyoon simply expressed "I would like to spend it first with the family, and then meet the friends or the acquaintances I couldn't see to enjoy talking with them ordinarily."

She apprised that 4minute recorded several Lunar New Year special programs as well. Beast’s Yoon Doojoon expressed his thoughts on the kiss scene with Ga In. On the SBS Strong Heart episode due to be aired on the 1st February, Doojoon talked about the kiss scene with Ga In in MBC’s sitcom All My Love. He said, ‘ During the filming, I felt that there might be a kissing scene at any moment, so I was mentally prepared for it, but honestly as a red blooded male, I was excited for it.’

Jokwon who was Ga In’s fake husband in MBC’S We Got Married also starring in this sitcom has a mild rivalry with Doojoon. Doojoon who has a good relationship with him said,’ When we film kissing scenes, Jokwon’s face will appear in my mind. Honestly, it was a bit of a burden.’ After that, Jokwon voiced out his opinion on the kissing scene, confessing his heart to Ga In whose ‘married couple’ life with him is now over.

[NEWS] 4Minute will participate on Billboard JAPAN Music Awards 2010

4Nias! Mark your calendars now, for in February 6, 2011, a world-class music awards night, known as "Billboard JAPAN Music Awards 2010" will be attended by 4Minute!

The ceremony will bring together a number of artists of various genres to show not only live performances, but also a global brand of music "billboard" in extravagant and special activities. This is actually the second time that this awarding will be executed.

Other popular artists aside from 4Minute are expected to perform at the event such as Nana Mizuki, Mamoru Tada, TEE, Lia and many more. It is definitely heart-warming to know that 4Minute is the only KPOP group to perform on the said popular event.

Meanwhile, the winners for the said awarding will partly be based from the votes of the fans to recognize the artists who usually top the charts for the whole year of 2010.

[INFO] SoHyun spots a new look!

With their anticipated comeback any time between February and March, 4Minute and CUBE have been very tight lipped and very careful in releasing too much details about their new concept and music. However we can always count on our maknae, SoHyun. Recently she tweeted a photo of what seems to be a new look. Plus the caption read: I Feel Like Wearing A Baseball Jumper.

It is still, however, anyones guess as to what their new concept will be like. All we can do now is wait for their audio preview which may give a clue as to what they will unleash next into the Kpop scene.
