BEAST received positive effects because of the rainy season?

BEAST, who recently rose to the top, is experiencing a funny situation where they are topping online charts because of the effects of the rainy season.

BEAST recently made a comeback with "Fiction", dominating various online-broadcast charts. BEAST, who ended their one month promotions for their Japanese and Asia tour, have unexpectedly placed first on online charts during the rainy season.

Besides 'Fiction", BEAST also received lots of popularity with their pre-released song "On Rainy Days". "On Rainy Days" received as much love as "Fiction" and ranked high on music charts. Also, due to the heavy rainfall during the rainy season, "On Rainy Days" topped certain music charts.

An official stated "On Rainy Days" is facing a situation where the song ranks higher on charts on rainy days and "We can't only be happy about getting damage because of the rainy season."

Meanwhile, BEAST is preparing to head off to various parts of Asia for their tour, rising as Asia stars.

[NEWS] SISTAR's Hyorin "Honestly, I'm aware of Jeon Jiyoon"

There was a lot of tension between SISTAR's Hyorin and 4minute's Jeon Jiyoon.

On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV 'Immortal Song 2' to be broadcasted on July 9th, 4minute's Jiyoon joined the show as a new contestant.

Jiyoon and Hyorin share a similar image as they are both idols who appear charismatic and have a distinctive husky voice. Their meeting face-to-face on the show 'Immortal Song 2' became a hot issue beforehand.



The MCs asked Hyorin to talk honestly about Jiyoon's appearance on the show. Hyorin, who hesitated at first, honestly answered "I'm aware of her" which gathered anticipation for their upcoming singing showdowns.

[NEWS/INFO] CUBE is currently considering 'United CUBE Concert' dates in Europe and South America

Idol groups BEAST's and 4minute's agency, CUBE Entertainment, revealed "We're currently coordinating concerts in Europe and in South America".

Last month, CUBE launched their first brand concert, 'United CUBE Concert', and revealed it received inquiries coming from the United Kingdom. It recently ended up completing a concrete schedule of dates.

On July 7, a CUBE representative revealed "We are fixing the indicative date of November 19th for a concert in England, but we still haven't set an exact schedule" and "After England, we're considering holding concerts in Brazil and in South America."

Through such concert tour, CUBE certainly aims to let people know their brand. The same representative explained "Right now, rather than the profits, we emphasize the promotion of our music and our acts and we're organizing the project."

Meanwhile, other South Korean entertainment agencies are fueling the 'world tour boom'. Last month, SM Town held a successful concert in Paris, France. YG Family is currently considering the concert requests coming from its fans from London, England.

[NEWS/INFO] Girl group 4minute to be featured in online game 'Freestyle'

The popular girl group 4minute will make an appearance in the online basketball game 'Freestyle'.

JCE concluded a license deal with the 5-member girl group 4minute and picked them as their new advertisement models for 'Freestyle'. The company also revealed that it plans to develop their various star marketing projects from now on. Hereby, 4minute is the fifth girl group to become characters for the online game. JCE's previous advertisement models were the Wonder Girls in 2008, Kara in 2009, f(x) in 2010 and T-Ara in March 2011.

JCE and 4minute's agency reportedly already signed the modeling contract. This time, 4minute is expected to hold promotion activities as 'Freestyle''s models starting from the end of July and the 5 members will, of course, make an appearance each as their very own character.

4minute, signed under CUBE Entertainment, debuted in 2009 with their digital single 'Hot Issue'. Back then, they showcased a powerful dance routine accompanied by an addictive melody and rose as the "blue chip" of the music industry. They released hits such as 'HUH' and 'Mirror, Mirror' afterwards. 4minute is currently a girl group gaining much popularity.

A JCE representative stated "We're very pleased to get to show 4minute as 'Freestyle' characters while the group is currently becoming very popular and gaining much attention" and "With their distinctive tonic overflowing energy, we expect them to bring more vitality on 'Freestyle'. Henceforth, we want you to look forward to the diverse marketing projects that we have with 4minute and to the events that are to be scheduled."

In the meantime, last July 4th, 4minute recorded a CF for 'Freestyle' in a studio located in Gyeonggi and in another location near the Han River in Apgujeong, Seoul. They also shot their pictorial and their still photo shoot on the same day. The group is expected to release a new song through 'Freestyle' in July.

[NEWS] 4minute, G.NA & BEAST, a Family Concert in Japan

4minute, GNA, BEAST, etc will hold a family concert called in Japan. The concert that will be held on 14th August in Jamsil Stadium, Seoul, will also land in Japan. Cube Entertainment revealed the news on 6th July that they will open the concert at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, on 25th August.

Artists from Cube Entertainment are currently having their promotion in Japan. For example, 4minute who already had 2 solo concerts in Japan, and BEAST who already revealed 2 singles there. BEAST revealed their debut single 'SHOCK' in March and reached 2nd place in Oricon daily chart. And their 2nd single 'BAD GIRL' that was revealed in June successfully reached 3rd place in Oricon daily chart. GNA is currently in preparation for her Japan debut.

Meanwhile, on 14th August in Jamsil Stadium with their theme 'Fantasy Land' is planned to be opened in an outdoor stage with a large-scale festival style.

[NEWS] BEAST, starts the rush of the Asia fanmeeting, day 1 in Malaysia

On the 1st, BEAST opens up their fanmeeting in Sunway Lagoon Resort, Malaysia at 8.30PM. On the following day, they will go to Singapore’s Expo Max Pavilion to meet the local fans there.

They will be taking a short break and will take over Thailand on the 9th, and at the 10th will hold the fanmeeting at the Impact Exhibition Hall. On the 16th, the fanmeeting will be held at ‘Ryokoku Kugikan’ with the official fan club of Japan B2UTY.

Their agency Cube Entertainment said “the Japanese fans from the official fan club requested to continue. In Asia, Japan is the most popular and active fan club and it is expected to accelerate more activities”

On the coming 23rd in the Memorial Hall of Taipei, last place is China on the 30th at the Shanghai Gymnastics Center to conclude their Asia Fanmeeting.

BEAST is currently focusing on their international activities, while on the 14th of August, along with labelmate 4Minute and G.NA, they will hold a joint concert, tittled ‘UNITED CUBE CONCERT’.
