Actor Heo Kyung Han made a promise to 4minute Sohyun.

On the October 28 broadcast of SBS "1000 Song Challenge," MC Lee Hee Jae said, "4minute Sohyun said she really loved Heo Kyung Hwan's chicken* very much. Please provide her with a chicken breasts sponsorship."

[NEWS] Jihyun to host new MBC show "She and her car"

Shim Lee Young and 4minute's Nam Jihyun will challenge hosting a show for the first time for MBC's new show "She and her Car."


"She and her Car" which is scheduled to premiere on October 31 on MBC Life is an "infotainment" program that finds its uniqueness in treating of women's everyday issues from their own perspective as well as topics related to fashion and cars, the latter still seen as men's treasured possession.

MCs Shim Lee Young and Nam Jihyun will be representing women in their 20s and 30s and will provide viewers with insight on fashion and beauty while introducing their "car lifestyle" through the show.

Imminent guests and experts in automobile and fashion will be appearing on the show to discuss current trends.

The first filming of the show took place on October 23 in Cheongdam-dong. MC Shim expressed, "I enjoy driving and have a lot of interest in cars. Jihyun's personality and mine matched really well, so we wrapped up the first episode smoothly."

[NEWS] Jiyoon cast in new musical

The composer of hit songs such as "The Melody in My Memory", "Between Love and Friendship", "Only Love was Spread in the World", Oh Taeho has announced the casting of his new musical, "My Love by My Side"

Experienced actors Hong Jimin and Bae Hyesun will depict a romantic love story of 40 year olds in which they operate a farm on Jeju Island. Acting by their side will be singer Kim Jungmin and musical actor Park Songkwon will enthusiastically act out photographers.

There will be a double casting of 4minute's Jeon Jiyoon and musical actor Yoo Joohye, who will act out the role of a girl who dreams of being a ballerina. Musical actor Seo Jihoon will play the role of the guitarist who falls in love with her.

In addition, veteran actor Park Hosan and Kang Sukho are double cast as the love messengers who traverse between past and present. Musical actor Son Hyunjung and singer Yuri will respectively play the roles of his past and present lovers.

"My Love By My Side" will open from December 8th, 2012 to January 20th, 2013.

[NEWS] BEAST, "Stopping with the events, going all in for albums"

BEAST will be beautifully completing this year on the stages in Korea.

Currently, they are hosting their ZEPP tour in Japan, touring around 6 different cities including Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and more. However, the Japan tour will continue until the end of this month and then they will heading back to Korea for more activities. In the release from Cube Entertainment, a staff stated, "We are planning to focus on album activities during the month of November."

They continued, "For the month of November, we will not have any schedules for BEAST in order to create a mastered album. The members have spoken and they are very eager to complete their year in Korea to thank the fans who helped them to become one of the top groups of this year."

Despite their promise to different events in the month of November, the members are showing that they are willing to apologize to the fans and stay in Korea instead. It has also been revealed that BEAST members have come to this decision on the 17th after celebrating their 3rd anniversary. Currently the members are putting all their energy into this album since it will be an album they are release in 4 months since the 'Midnight Sun' mini album in July. They believe that music is the best gift they can give to their fans so they are determined to raise up BEAST's music color in the industry.

BEAST is preparing for this album not just musically, but also through there outfits and hairstyle in between the Japanese tour. As soon as BEAST finishes their tour in Toyko on the 30th, they will head back to Korea to put all their energy in mastering their album.

[NEWS] Hyunah's co-written track "Very Hot" banned from MBC and KBS

A track from Hyunah's soon-to-be released mini album "Melting" has been banned from broadcast by KBS and MBC. The song titled "Very Hot" is co-written and co-produced by Hyunah herself, Cube Entertainment's producer Shinsadong Tiger and Lee Won.

A representative of Cube Entertainment expressed on October 17, "The song has been deemed inappropriate for broadcast because the brand "kakaotalk" appeared in the lyrics. This seems to be the main issue regarding this track."

Cube Entertainment announced that Hyunah's album release date has been postponed, "Hyunah's second mini album "Melting" which was scheduled for release on October 17 has been pushed back to October 22."

Nam Jihyun of girl group 4minute has made a surprising transformation into a beautiful businesswoman.

Jihyun will be making an appearance on the Channel A drama, "Ms Panda and Mr Hedgehog" as a new head of management strategy, appearing alongside Donghae Lee and Seungah Yoon.

4minute was involved in a car accident at 7:30 PM as they were on their way to a scheduled event in Osan, in the Kyeonggi province.

A few hours ago, rumors of 4minute being late at the event because of the accident reached us. The organizers of the Celebration Concert in Osan announced to the audience that 4minute wasn't attending.

4minute, their staffs, managers as well as the passengers of the other vehicule were left with minors injuries but were rushed to the hospital for check-up.

An hour ago, Cube Entertainment's CEO, President Hong confirmed the accident in a tweet to worried fans, "4minute was indeed involved in a car accident. We're currently taking care of the matter. Even though it didn't look like the passengers of the other vehicule and of our vehicule got injured, they have been sent to the hospital for check up."

[NEWS] 4minute Reveals Diet Schedule

The girls of 4minute revealed their diet schedule.

On the August 29th episode of QTV 4minute's Travel Maker, the five member group said, answering Apink's questions on their slender silhouettes, "We eat whatever we feel like eating whenever we want except for our diet period."

They went on, "Our dieting schedule is really short [compared to other groups.] It starts two weeks right before our comeback stage."

Netizens chose girl groups with an amazon like image in a survey conducted by Sony Pictures from August 27 to September 2 for the release of Resident Evil 5: The Final Judgment.

The poll focused on naming girl groups that would best represent the female warrior concept such as the main character of the movie, Alice, played by Milla Jovovich.

"World Power" girl group representatives 4minute and SNSD placed #3, while Sistar ranked #2 and 2NE1 topped the poll at #1 with about 50% of votes.

The PD of '4minute's Travel Maker', Im Woosik, revealed that there is no bullying within the group through a telephone interview with Daily Sports. "This is not a group that only looks close on camera. They are just like best friends behind the scenes as well. Kwon Sohyun, the maknae, calls her unnies by their name. All the members call each other by their names and don't feel the need to use honorifics. No one in 4minute gets ostracized. There is absolutely no bullying in this group.”

A representative of Cube Entertainment also revealed 4minute's close bond. "The members of 4minute often speak with each other and share stories, even when they are not filming. [NEWS] 4minute fansite closes due to Hyunah's impending solo

Chinese 4minute fansite, LikeTheMuzik, has recently closed down due to disappointment over Hyunah's impending solo. However, the owner of this fansite did not leave quietly.

LikeTheMuzik was a 4minute fansite where 4nias could gather to talk about 4minute and download their latest TV appearances. Since its shutdown, the owner of the fansite has compiled several pictures and also left a message on the website. The pictures that the owner created are "facts about Kim Hyunah" that show his intense opposition against Hyunah.



The owner's first fact shows Hyunah and her fans defending the "Bubble Pop" star against shaming accusations. However, the picture ends with Hong Seungsung, the CEO of Cube, replying, "If you are not, then who?", reflecting the owner's thoughts about Hyunah's stage persona. (A/N: The English version uses bitch, but the Korean version uses 창녀, which is more appropriately translated as whore.)



The owner's second fact begins with Hyunah's confessions in recent shows, where she reveals that life is not as easy as it seems for her. In this scenario, when told by fans to stop acting in a cheap manner, Hyunah responds, "No way! I'm bitch style!", referencing Hyunah's recent involvement in Psy's worldwide hit "Gangnam Style".



The last picture depicts citizens watching TV, showing pity over those who are forced to become prostitutes to overcome adversities in their lives. They then complain after seeing a perfeormance of Hyunah's "Trouble Maker". The last frame of this picture shows Hyunah's parents living happily with the money Hyunah is making through her controversial work.

However, this person reveals that he is no longer a 4minute fan because he cannot abide by these rules and suppress his hatred of Hyunah anymore. He then leaves a closing message, saying "Lastly, to those who have been supporting this place, sorry. Goodbye."

Cube's spotlight of Hyunah over the other members has long been controversial. Many fans have felt that Hyunah is unfairly favored over the other members due to her many solo projects and variety appearances. However, not many have expressed their displeasure in such a high-profile, extreme way.
